The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India's largest hospitality group, has extended its presence in one of the country’s most vibrant tourism and business markets by announcing a greenfield signing for a new Gateway hotel in Mahapura, Jaipur.
The 161-key hotel will be a part of IHCL’s strong presence in the city of Pink, where currently, 16 hotels are operating, and five are under construction.
While talking about the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, shared her thoughts about Jaipur's transformation to a strong multifaceted business and MICE destination.

"The rise of Jaipur as a destination with different faces is mainly due to the increased commercial activities and business travel. Indeed, Gateway Mahapura, Jaipur, will be the perfect fit for the area as we identify such a demand. It is a pleasure for us to work with Shri Modi Group on this project,” she remarked.
Gateway Mahapura is strategically situated on the NH48 Jaipur–Ajmer corridor. The location is ideal to offer the guests of the hotel a comfortable stay with easy access to Jaipur's leading cultural and heritage attractions like Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar.

The anticipated property can boast of a 9,000-square-foot banquet hall that is a highlight and positioned to be utilized for hosting weddings, conferences, and social events.
