
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Taj hotel in Mohali, Punjab, marking a significant expansion of its luxury portfolio in North India.
This upcoming property is a greenfield project, underscoring IHCL’s commitment to developing new hospitality assets in high-growth destinations.
The 225-key Taj Mohali is designed to offer guests uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery, combining contemporary luxury with a serene natural setting. The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and a specialty restaurant, ensuring a premium culinary experience for leisure and business travelers alike.
Key Highlights
Leisure and wellness amenities will include a swimming pool, gym, health club, and Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle, reinforcing the brand’s focus on holistic well-being and experiential luxury. These facilities are aimed at catering to both resident guests and the local community.
A key highlight of the project is its extensive banqueting infrastructure. With over 26,000 square feet of banqueting space, the hotel will offer the largest event venue in the region, making it an ideal destination for weddings, corporate functions, and large social gatherings.

With the addition of Taj Mohali, IHCL’s presence in Punjab will grow to 14 hotels, of which seven are under development.
