The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has opened its first hotels in Ekta Nagar: a luxury Vivanta and a budget-friendly Ginger. The launch happened on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and adds to IHCL’s growing presence in Gujarat, now with 39 hotels across the state.
The Vivanta Ekta Nagar sits just three kilometers from the Statue of Unity. It has 127 rooms and suites, many with views of the Satpura and Vindhya mountains. Guests can enjoy good food, a spa, a gym, and an outdoor pool. The hotel is close to popular spots like the Narmada Aarti, Shoolpaneshwar Temple, and the Valley of Flowers.
Next door, the Ginger Ekta Nagar offers 151 modern, no-frills rooms. It’s built for travelers who want comfort without the high price tag. The hotel has a lively Qmin restaurant serving Indian and international dishes, a gym, and a meeting room. This is the 75th Ginger hotel in India, making it the country’s largest mid-range hotel chain.
