IHCL Announces Corbett Hideaway Under SeleQtions Brand

IHCL has opened Corbett Hideaway – IHCL SeleQtions in Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, strengthening its leisure portfolio in a key wildlife destination. The launch supports IHCL’s Accelerate 2030 strategy to expand its portfolio to 700 hotels.

The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Corbett Hideaway - IHCL SeleQtions in Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, expanding its presence in one of India’s prominent wildlife and leisure destinations. The property adds another experiential resort to the company’s growing SeleQtions portfolio.

Located in the Corbett region, the resort is positioned to cater to travellers seeking nature, wildlife and leisure experiences. The launch strengthens IHCL’s presence in Uttarakhand, where tourism continues to benefit from growing demand for experiential and destination-focused stays.

The opening is part of IHCL’s broader Accelerate 2030 growth strategy. As of June 30, 2026, IHCL had a portfolio of 645 hotels, including 382 operating properties and 263 hotels in the development pipeline. The SeleQtions brand accounted for 39 operating hotels and 17 pipeline properties.

SeleQtions is IHCL’s collection of hotels and resorts distinguished by their individual character, local identity and destination-led experiences. The brand is designed for travellers looking for properties that offer a strong connection with their surroundings while retaining IHCL’s hospitality standards.

The Corbett opening comes as IHCL continues to expand its leisure portfolio across emerging tourism destinations. In the first quarter of FY2027, the company signed 20 hotels and opened 11 properties across its brands, with several new developments targeting leisure and emerging markets.

Uttarakhand remains an important market for hospitality companies because of its combination of wildlife tourism, adventure travel, nature-based experiences and proximity to major urban centres in North India. Jim Corbett, in particular, attracts visitors seeking wildlife safaris and resort-based leisure experiences.

For IHCL, the new property strengthens its destination-focused portfolio while supporting its strategy of expanding into markets with strong tourism potential. The company is targeting a 700-hotel portfolio under its Accelerate 2030 roadmap, making new leisure destinations an important part of its expansion strategy.

The launch of Corbett Hideaway -  IHCL SeleQtions therefore reflects the continued growth of India’s experiential hospitality segment, where travellers are increasingly seeking distinctive properties and immersive destination experiences alongside conventional accommodation.
