Gulshan Group, the real estate developer based in Noida has recently announced a landmark investment of Rs 1,000 crore in real estate to build a luxury Noida-based Taj branded hotel and branded residences, which is set to make a significant contribution to the hospitality and real estate industry of the region.

This project, in collaboration with Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), will be the first five-star hotel of full-fledged luxuries under the legendary Taj brand in the city, a void of luxury hotel of this scale has long existed in the Noida hotel industry.

The mixed-use tower will be in Sector 129 of the Noida Expressway with an area of 57 storeys and will have a 150-room Taj luxury hotel and 74 ultra-luxury Taj branded serviced apartments. It is the second such branded residence project under the flagship of luxury portfolio of IHCL in India after one in Chennai.

The architectural vision combines the best hospitality facilities to the best residential living including an all-day dining restaurant, speciality restaurants, a bar and an 8,000 sq. ft ballroom to suit both business and leisure guests. Its construction is already underway and should be finished in five years, which speaks of long-term trust in the luxury market of the region.

The officials of the Gulshan Group emphasized the high demand of branded luxury products in the National Capital Region and indicated that they intended to repeat similar alliances in major micro-markets. According to IHCL leadership, the project will underpin the increasing demand to experience high-end urban experience in India and make Noida a hospitality destination.
