Godrej Launches Face Recognition Smart Home Locker

The Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) today introduced NX Pro Ncrypt which serves as India's first facial recognition home locker system during the Smart Home Expo 2026. The Group displayed its smart connected home ecosystem which operates through Advantis IoT9 to demonstrate how design-led innovation together with intelligent technology transforms safety and daily life in contemporary Indian households.

The Godrej Enterprises Group made an investment commitment of 100 crores which they will use to develop digital security solutions that connect with customers and protect their privacy between now and three years from today. The Indian market receives its first home locker system which uses facial recognition technology through the introduction of NX Pro Ncrypt.

The system provides users with three authentication methods through its combination of facial recognition and biometric fingerprint and digital PIN security options which allow them to select between single mode and dual mode protection. The system uses advanced AES encryption to protect facial data which gets transformed into secure digital templates instead of keeping it as images.

GEG introduced a complete home application system which operates through Advantis IoT9 to demonstrate how residential buildings in India operate. The system automatically modifies the user environment when a user unlocks the door through biometric authentication. The lights adjust to personal preferences, the air conditioner sets itself to the ideal temperature, and the space configures seamlessly to the individual, no manual inputs.
