Nadir Godrej will leave his position as chairperson in August 2026 when he reaches the age of 75. He will then take on the honorary role of Chairman Emeritus after decades of leadership. Pirojsha Godrej has been designated to succeed the current chairperson position. He will officially assume the role of chairperson of both Godrej Industries Group and Godrej Industries Limited from August 14, 2026.
Pirojsha currently leads key businesses such as Godrej Properties, Godrej Capital, and Godrej Ventures, and is credited with driving strong growth in these segments.
The leadership reshuffle also introduces additional duties for upcoming leaders of the organization. Burjis Godrej will assume the role of chairperson at Godrej Agrovet while joining the board of Godrej Industries as a non-executive director.
The company announced leadership changes at Astec Life Sciences which form part of its wider organizational restructuring efforts.
