Brigade Bets Big on Bengaluru Growth with Whitefield-Hoskote Project

Brigade Group has expanded its footprint in Karnataka’s real estate market with the acquisition of a 20.19 acre land parcel in the Whitefield - Hoskote corridor of East Bengaluru. The purchase, executed through its wholly owned subsidiary Ananthay Properties, was concluded at a cost of Rs. 588.33 crore.

 The land is earmarked for a major mixed-use development project, which is expected to span approximately 4.2 million square feet with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of around Rs. 5,200 crore. The development will feature a blend of residential, commercial, and retail components, aligning with the growing demand for integrated urban environments in the city.

Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises, said the acquisition reflects the company’s vision to create holistic living environments. “This investment aligns with Brigade’s long-term strategy of creating integrated destinations that combine living, working, and leisure. The Whitefield–Hoskote corridor is a high-potential growth zone with excellent connectivity and long-term promise,” she stated.

The corridor has gained traction due to its proximity to established IT hubs and upcoming infrastructure developments, making it an increasingly attractive destination for both investors and end-users.

Earlier this year, Brigade Group had also acquired an 11-acre parcel near ITPL in Whitefield for a premium commercial development that is expected to yield 1.5 million sq ft of office space, with a GDV exceeding Rs. 2,000 crore.
