Vintage Berlin Meets Bohemian Nature Vibe at Andheri's Berlin Brew Beer Garden

Inspired by Berlin’s Garten Kneipe concept, Berlin Brew Beer Garden in Andheri merges the city's cozy, nostalgic charm with its urban grit. The new outlet of Berlin Brew has been designed by UDA India (Umesh Desai and Associates). From its earthy colour palette to retro touches like vintage TV sets and old signage, the ambience strikes the perfect balance: inviting by day and effortlessly moody by night.

The space evokes the warmth of aged wood, rust tones and wrought iron lighting. The materials used to make distressed wood flooring, partially finished stone walls and touches of antique brass lend a timeworn feel to the area.

The furniture is intentionally mismatched to create an informal setting reflecting the European beer pubs. The layout sees long beer garden tables flanked by vibrant vintage chairs, snug wooden benches and worn leather stools and seating. Overall, it creates spontaneity yet looks well put together.

Other careful additions to keep the vintage charm alive include retro elements that will slip you into nostalgia. Think box TV sets, antique radios, graffiti on walls, antique beer steins and Fraktur script signages dotted to create an eclectic pub atmosphere. Nature-inspired chandeliers with Edison bulbs cast a soft glow, perfect to sip your meads underneath.

Keeping up with the garden theme, several indoor trees and potted plants add the finishing touches to the rugged interiors. The open-plan seating with a mix of high-top bar tables and garden-style picnic tables is inviting to large groups. Alongside, large windows, retractable ceiling opens up to the city skyline, bringing in natural light and fresh breeze.

Umesh Desai and his team have designed a welcoming haven of a true Berlin garden pub in the city, with comfort to relax in every corner.
