SUNDAY Hotel, the luxury hospitality brand of Oravel Stays, launched India's first Japanese-themed hotel in M3M SkyLoft in New Golf Course Road Extension in Gurugram. Spread over 50,000 square feet, the property presents an immersive Japanese experience with facilities like an Ofuro Japanese bath, a Japanese Hammam, and a 20-seater Japanese restaurant.
With 217 keys, it is India's largest SUNDAY Hotel to date. There is a dedicated wing of 54 rooms catering to Japanese travelers on longer-term stays, aided by Japanese-speaking staff to provide culturally aware service.
Key Highlights-
Devised jointly with Japanese architects, the hotel compromises traditional Japanese architectural elements such as tatami mats and minimal decor with contemporary luxury norms. Its restaurant has an upscale Japanese menu featuring such dishes as sushi, udon, ramen, and donburi to attract the vast Japanese expatriate population, as well as the business traveler to Gurugram.
Aditya Sharma, SUNDAY Hotels Country Head, stated, "Our partnership with Japanese designers offers a real cultural experience, fulfilling international business visitors' and Japanese guests' expectations."

The opening of the hotel marks the attempt by SUNDAY Hotel to redefine luxury stays in Gurugram by combining Japanese culture with modern comfort.
