The fire ejected at the Adidas showroom situated on the first floor of Logix Mall in Sector 32, Noida. Visuals shared by news organization ANI showed firemen attempting to souse the fire.
Police work force were also present there. As indicated by Noida’s Main Fire Official Pradeep Chaubey, the alarm framework inside the shopping centre cautioned nearby local groups of fire-department at around 11 am.
Because of the early timing of the occurrence, the shopping centre was generally vacant with just security work force and shopping centre staff present. In order to allow the smoke to escape, the firefighters broke the building’s glass panes.
By 12:30 pm, firemen effectively oppressed the fire, despite the fact that endeavours kept on cleaning leftover smoke off of the building.
Regarding this, Chief Fire Officer of Noida, Pradeep Chaubey states, "On reaching here, it was found that a fire had broken out at the Adidas showroom on the first floor. Since it was morning and all showrooms had not yet opened, its shutter was also down. Firefighters used saw cutters to cut open the shutter and entered the showroom to douse the flames”.
"The smoke from the fire has filled the building, and efforts are still on to remove the smoke. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit”, he added.
