Nippo Enters Smart Home Air Care Segment With AirVue

Nippo enters India’s smart air-care market with AirVue, offering connected air purifiers and quality monitors. The company targets ₹100  crore in revenue by FY2030 while expanding into broader home technology and indoor-air solutions.

Indo National Limited, the manufacturer of the Nippo brand, has introduced Nippo AirVue, its pan-India product to the Indian market of indoor air quality and purification. This will be the first step in further diversifying its existing battery business, and will enable the firm to establish itself in consumer technology, home appliances and wellness-related solutions.

AirVue aims to be a connected, monitoring and smart air-care solution for indoor spaces. The first portfolio comprises four models of smart air purifiers that come with different capacities ranging from 300 sq. ft. to 1,500 sq. ft. Products are equipped with multi-stage filtration with True HEPA and activated carbon, UV-C technology and smart connectivity.

The company is also launching an air quality monitoring device specifically designed for the company's users that will allow them to monitor indoor environmental conditions. The connectivity between the smart apps enables monitoring and management of the air-quality parameters remotely and the platform has been designed for alerts and over-the-air updates.

Nippo believes AirVue will become a key new business stream. The business expects to account for a 15% share of the air-purification and indoor-air-intelligence market in the next five years, and expects to generate revenue of ₹100 crore from the business by FY 2030. Rising  awareness of indoor air quality in the residential, commercial and institutional settings support the strategy.

The company will market AirVue products via Nippo's dealer and distribution network, its direct-to-consumer web site, and the major e-commerce sites. It is also focusing on institutional clients in healthcare, hospitality, education, corporate offices, real estate and government institutions.

The future of Nippo will go beyond air purifiers to include dehumidifiers, humidifiers, HVAC and air-conditioning filters, car air purifiers and enterprise air-intelligence solutions.
