Haier Launches CIVIC X11 Series Robot Vacuums Tailored for Indian Homes

Haier has introduced two new robotic vacuum cleaners from its CIVIC series, the CIVIC X11 and the higher-end CIVIC X11 Pro, to cater to the varied cleaning requirements of Indian households. Filled with features such as laser navigation, smart obstacle detection, and voice command through Google Assistant, the two models hope to provide hands-free, smart home cleaning.

The devices can be controlled by the HaiSmart app or even Android or Google TV. "No matter if you reside in a small flat, a duplex, or a fur-friendly catastrophe, these robots are designed to fit in," a Haier spokesperson explained.

The CIVIC X11 is used for sweeping and mopping work, with the X11 Pro adding the addition of dust collection through automatic emptying of its own bin, a concept perfect for busy individuals or elderly parents. Both products come with a 5000Pa suction motor, 2600mAh battery, and low-noise design, providing quiet performance without bothering pets or remote meetings.

They also provide multi-level mapping with the capacity to store five alternate floor plans and can cross gaps of up to 20mm, ensuring smooth transitions from tile to carpet. Safety and accuracy are bolstered with anti-fall sensors, restricted area mapping, and a spot-clean feature for localized spills.

The CIVIC X11 is available at Rs.29,999 and the X11 Pro at Rs.59,999. Both are covered under a 1-year warranty and can be purchased from Flipkart, Haier's online portal, and prominent electronics stores. The CIVIC X11 is produced in Haier's Greater Noida facility and the launch benefits the "Made in India, Made for India" movement.
