Eight Restaurant Brings Bangkok to Mumbai with BeautyEats Thai Pop-Up

Eight, one of Mumbai's premier dining destinations, is set to transport guests to the vibrant streets of Bangkok with an exclusive Thai pop-up featuring BeautyEats, a brand that has become synonymous with authentic Thai flavors in India. This collaborative event promises to be a gastronomic journey, blending Eight's reputation for culinary excellence with BeautyEats' commitment to genuine Thai tastes.

BeautyEats, the brainchild of Priyanka Mahendru Seth, has  a story as rich and intriguing as its flavors. What began as a passion project in a Mumbai kitchen has blossomed into a beloved brand,  known for their authentic Thai curry pastes and condiments — bringing the true essence of Thai cuisine to Indian homes.

"I never set out to start a business," reveals Priyanka, founder and head chef, BeautyEats.  "I was simply a Thai woman in India, missing the tastes of home. As I started cooking for myself, word spread in my neighborhood. Soon, I was known as 'the invisible Thai lady,' receiving calls from strangers craving authentic Thai food and fresh curry pastes."

This underground culinary movement laid the foundation for BeautyEats, which has since gained recognition for its commitment to authentic Thai flavors using locally sourced Indian produce & traditional family recipes passed down through generations.

The pop-up at Eight will showcase BeautyEats' signature dishes and curry pastes, &  guests can expect a menu offers a true taste of Thailand's diverse culinary landscape.
 Menu Highlights:

Glass Noodle Salad – Light and refreshing, packed with fresh herbs and spices.

Thai Tom Yum Street Noodles Bowl – Bold, tangy, and infused with the signature Thai spices.

Tofu & Chicken Satay with Peanut Dip & Cucumber Dip – Grilled to perfection with rich, creamy dips on the side.

Thai Khow Suey Bowl (Chicken & Veg) – A family recipe that promises comfort and tradition in every bite.

BeautyEats believes in supporting local farmers and using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to recreate the distinct flavors of Thailand. “It’s all about celebrating what each soil has to offer. However, the Khow Suey paste is a recipe that’s been passed down in my family, and I’m thrilled to bring it to this pop-up,” adds Priyanka

Diners can also enroll themselves for a Diwali special Thai cooking class on 28th October, to learn the nuances of authentic Thai cooking & whip up amazing delicacies this festive season.

"Eight is known for its expansive, innovative menu and deep passion for food”, shares Prashant Issar, CEO, Bellona Hospitality Services Limited. “The collaboration with BeautyEats felt like a perfect fit. Their deep understanding of Thai flavors and techniques, combined with our team's expertise, has resulted in a menu that we believe will surprise and delight our guests."
