Tresind Mumbai Unveils Its New Degustation & Chef's Tasting Menus

Tresind Mumbai

Tresind, the critically acclaimed progressive Indian restaurant known for its layered storytelling and elevated cuisine, introduces its latest culinary expressions: the Degustation Menu and the Chef’s Tasting Menu, crafted by Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed and his team.

At the heart of these new offerings lies a singular vision—to take diners on an intricate journey across India’s diverse regional cuisines, reinterpreted with finesse, restraint, and technical mastery.

The Degustation Menu:
Available in Vegetarian (Rs. 6000++) and Non-Vegetarian (Rs. 6500++) formats, this expansive 14+ course experience is layered with nostalgia, regionality, and artistic flair.

New introductions include the Cacao Golgappa with Lemon Aguachile,  Potato Gratin Wellington, served with a silky parmesan moilee and black truffle—a dish that brings Western technique and South Indian flavour into elegant harmony. Also debuting is the Jackfruit Chettinad Masala with Gnocchi Vadi, and a richly spiced Maas Ka Soolah with Missi Roti and Smoked Curry, highlighting Rajasthan’s robust flavour profiles through a fine-dining lens.

A multi-sensory play of textures and temperatures continues into dessert with the house-favourite Mulayari Paysam with black apple ice cream and a finishing bite of Paan Temaki.

The Chef’s Tasting Menu

Designed as a concise lunch only menu, yet evocative culinary flair, the Chef’s Tasting Menu (Rs. 4200++ / Rs. 4500++) introduces a bold reimagining of comfort through a refined lens.

Hero dishes include the Crab Cafreal with Ross Omelette with Xacuti curry, Tender Coconut and Ghee Roast with Curry Leaf Crunch, and a surprisingly seamless pairing of Blue Cheese Tortellini with Nihari or Marrow Curry—showcasing Trèsind’s fearless use of crossover flavours. A stunning dessert of Textures of Milk with Yakult Ice Cream and Malai Burrata reflects detail even in sweet endings.

“These menus are rooted in memory and rediscovery,” says Chef Sarfaraz Ahmed, Executive Chef, Tresind Mumbai. “We’ve leaned into lesser-used Indian ingredients—jackfruit, tender coconut, khandvi, bamboo rice, ivy gourd & water chestnut—and allowed them to shine without being masked by complexity. It’s familiar, yet entirely new.”
