That's interesting! YEIDA, or Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, was indeed established by the Uttar Pradesh government in 2001 to foster industrial growth and urban development between Greater Noida and Agra. It covers a substantial area of 2.5 lakh hectares across 1,149 villages spanning six districts: Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Hathras, Mathura, and Agra. The primary goals were to stimulate industrial activity for job creation and to facilitate the overall development of urban infrastructure in these regions.
YEIDA, established in 2001 by the Uttar Pradesh government, aimed to develop 2.5 lakh hectares across six districts between Greater Noida and Agra for industrial and urban growth. However, only 20,000 hectares have been acquired so far, focusing development primarily in Gautam Budh Nagar district, where projects like the Noida International Airport and proposed Film City are underway.
