TRU Realty, VHD Group Invest Rs. 800 Cr in Urban Housing

TRU Realty

TRU Realty, led by former Kolte Patil CEO Sujay Kalele, has announced its entry into Mumbai’s residential market with two premium redevelopment projects worth Rs. 400 crore.

Located in the Santacruz–Andheri corridor, these projects follow the successful launch of TRU Meadows and Kekarav in Pune. The move comes amid a 13-year high in Mumbai housing registrations, fueled by rising incomes and limited land availability. The upcoming TRU Realty developments are strategically positioned near Juhu Beach, Andheri Station, and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, focusing on urban redevelopment and expanding into multi-city markets.

“Mumbai has historically been a tough market for non-local developers,” said Kalele. “Our redevelopment projects in these ultra-competitive neighbourhoods are a testament to our transparent, tech-driven model.”

Meanwhile, VHD Group, a Faridabad-based developer, has unveiled plans to enter the National Capital Region (NCR) with new projects in Palwal and other parts of Haryana. The first project will incorporate smart amenities, sustainable design, and premium living features, targeting growing housing demand in the region.

“Our projects will offer a balance of affordability and lifestyle, backed by infrastructure growth,” a VHD spokesperson noted.
