Skincare Firm MD Buys Luxury Bungalow in Delhi for Rs. 72 Crore

The founder and managing director of the skincare company O3plus, Vineet Kapur, and his wife, Sonia Kapur, have spent Rs. 72 crore on a bungalow in the Vasant Vihar neighborhood of Delhi.

Documents obtained by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics company, show that Kapur paid Rs. 1.8 crore in stamp duty for the bungalow situated on a 663 square meter plot. In the first week of April, the transaction was recorded.

Eleannt Enterprises recently paid Rs. 95 crore for a 1,280-square-yard site in Vasant Vihar.

According to industry data, South Delhi's real estate potential, which spans 42 MCD-regulated colonies and is primarily comprised of occupied and unoccupied plots in categories A and B colonies, is worth Rs. 5.65 lakh crore.

There are approximately 18,446 plots in the 42 categories, ranging in size from 125 square yards to 1,750 square yards. According to research, the average cost ranges from Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh per square yard.

“India's luxury housing market has experienced a surge in sales over the past few years, and 2025 has commenced on a steady course, fuelled by an increasing appetite for homeownership, rising income levels, and continuous infrastructure improvements,” said Anshuman Magazine, chairman and chief executive officer for the India, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa regions of property consultant CBRE.

“Delhi-NCR has dominated the luxury housing sales in the past couple of years. We anticipate continued dynamism of the luxury housing market in Delhi-NCR, propelled by increased affluence and a desire for premium residential environments”, Anshuman said.
