The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) successfully auctioned premium residential and commercial properties worth Rs. 155.62 crore between February 3rd and 5th.
The auction featured a mix of small and large plots, along with constructed flats, located in Jaipur, Hanumangarh, Bhiwadi, and Bharatpur.
Out of approximately 60 properties listed, 44 were sold, demonstrating continued public trust in the RHB, even for premium properties, according to Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma. The auction generated substantial revenue for the RHB. Jaipur led the sales, contributing Rs. 132.37 crore.
Hanumangarh properties fetched Rs. 15.92 crore, while Bhiwadi generated Rs. 6.97 crore. Bharatpur's sales amounted to Rs. 35.31 lakh.
This successful auction marks a significant achievement for the RHB, exceeding expectations and demonstrating a robust demand for quality real estate in Rajasthan. The strong sales figures are a positive indicator for the real estate market in the state, suggesting renewed buyer confidence and investment interest.
The RHB's transparent auction process and diverse property offerings likely contributed to the positive outcome. The revenue generated will enable the RHB to further invest in infrastructure development and future housing projects, benefiting the citizens of Rajasthan.
Building on this momentum, the board has scheduled further rounds of premium property auctions. These upcoming auctions are planned for February 10th to 12th, February 17th to 19th, and February 24th to 27th, offering more opportunities for buyers to acquire premium properties.
The RHB anticipates continued strong interest and successful sales in these future auctions, further solidifying its position as a key player in the Rajasthan real estate market. The board's strategic approach to property auctions is proving successful in generating revenue and meeting the housing needs of the state.
