Open Hotels by Olive Launches AI-Native Remote Hotel Model

Olive by Embassy

Olive by Embassy, the tech-forward hospitality arm of Embassy Group, has unveiled Open Hotels, the world’s first fully remote-operated, AI-native hotel brand.

Aimed at transforming the budget and midscale hotel segment, Open is now available through two operational models: Franchise and Full Management. In the Franchise model, hotel owners manage their staff while utilizing Open’s powerful plug-and-play tech stack. In the Fully Managed model, operations are handled remotely via Open’s AI-driven command centre. Both are CapEx-free, making them ideal for rapid, scalable deployment.

Key Highlights

  • Open Hotels reduces staff-to-room ratio by 57 percent using remote AI systems.
  • Offers two models: Franchise and Full Management—both CapEx-free.
  • Voice AI enables real-time guest sentiment detection and response.

“We were the first to run hotel receptions through video conferencing. Once we layered in Voice AI and analytics, guest satisfaction and profit margins surged,” said Kahraman Yigit, CEO & Co-founder, Olive by Embassy. “The tech was too powerful to keep to ourselves so we’re now offering it under Open Hotels. We have already signed 12 hotels and live across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Vijayawada and Chikmagalur.”

A key innovation is the remote reception system, which uses live video for guest check-ins. Combined with onsite support staff, this model reduces the staff-to-room ratio from 0.7 to 0.3—a 57 percent improvement in operational efficiency.

Open also incorporates Voice AI to monitor real-time guest interactions. If dissatisfaction is detected, remote teams are instantly alerted, enabling immediate service recovery. Backed by audio-video analytics and predictive housekeeping, this approach ensures high guest satisfaction with fewer resources. A U.S. patent application has been filed for Open’s Remote Hotel Management System, reinforcing its global ambitions.
