In one of 2025’s largest healthcare real estate deals, Narayana Hrudayalaya Limited has acquired land parcels worth Rs. 246 crore along Bannerghatta Main Road in Bengaluru through three separate transactions, according to documents sourced from Propstack.
The acquisitions span more than 46,000 sq ft in the Hulimavu locality, all sourced from members of the Markose family. The biggest deal, valued at Rs. 177.7 crore, was struck with Kelachandra Veneer Industries, represented by Thomas and Neelu Markose, for a 93,500 sq ft plot that includes 10,000 sq ft of built-up area.
The second transaction involved the purchase of 17,424 sq ft from Neelu Markose for Rs. 33.1 crore, while the third deal secured 18,513 sq ft from Thomas Markose for Rs. 35.17 crore. All three deals were officially concluded on February 3, 2025.
These strategic acquisitions significantly expand Narayana Hrudayalaya’s land bank along the Bannerghatta Road corridor, a key hub for healthcare and residential development in South Bengaluru. Although the company has not formally announced development plans, the purchase underscores its intent to reinforce its infrastructure and growth footprint in the region.
