The scheme, launched by the Housing Minister B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan, will comprise 1,017 duplex houses in the Suryanagar Phase-3 layout adjacent to Chandapura on the city periphery.
Every unit, ranging from Rs 65 lakh to Rs 75 lakh, will be constructed on a 30x40 ft area and equipped with contemporary amenities. The houses are anticipated to meet the increasing need for spacious but affordable housing in the Bengaluru metropolitan area.
