JDA extends Application Deadline for JDA's Atal Vihar & Govind Yojana Schemes

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has announced an extension for applications to its Atal Vihar Yojana and Govind Yojana residential schemes, pushing the deadline to February 7th. This extension is a direct result of the overwhelming response, with over one lakh applications received for the combined schemes. 

A JDA official confirmed the high volume of applications, particularly from the general category, and reiterated that the three upcoming residential schemes, including Patel Nagar, offer a total of 756 plots. The application window for the Patel Nagar scheme has been extended further, to February 13th. 

Detailed figures reveal the distribution of applications across different categories. Govind Yojana has garnered 75,293 online applications, with 47,066 originating from the general category. 

Other applicants include government employees (10,414), Scheduled Tribes (8,847), Scheduled Castes (7,528), journalists (95), transgenders (26), and soldiers (1,317). 

Atal Yojana has received 47,650 applications, comprising 33,649 from the general category, 6,372 from government employees, 1,809 from Scheduled Tribes, 3,556 from Scheduled Castes, 58 from journalists, 20 from transgenders, and 1,915 from soldiers. The JDA highlighted the participation of 46 transgender individuals across both schemes. 

With the application deadlines now extended, the JDA has also announced the dates for the lottery draws. The Govind Vihar lottery is scheduled for February 20th, followed by the Atal Vihar lottery on February 14th. 

The Patel Nagar lottery will be conducted on February 24th. These extensions provide prospective homeowners with additional time to submit their applications for a chance to secure a plot in these developing residential areas.
