Godrej Properties seals 1st Land Deal in Prime Housing Locality of Mumbai

Versova, a prestigious residential area in Andheri West, Mumbai, is the site of Godrej Properties' first land purchase.

The project would cover approximately 4.4 lakh square feet of saleable space and predominantly include premium residential units in a variety of layouts. It is anticipated to earn Rs. 1,350 crore in revenue.

Due to its advantageous position, Versova has excellent access to the Western Express Highway, Link Road, and Versova Metro.

It has a strong social infrastructure, including respectable schools, hospitals, recreational areas, and easy access to important economic hubs. Its rising demand in residential settings is a result of these considerations. Additionally, it is anticipated that the forthcoming Bandra-Versova Sea Link (BVSL) will improve connectivity to Bandra and South Mumbai, increasing the area's allure for prospective homeowners.

Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, Gaurav Pandey highlighted the strategic nature of this move. “This is our first land acquisition in Versova and reflects our confidence in the area's potential. It further strengthens our presence in Mumbai and aligns with our growth strategy, which focuses on delivering high-quality developments in high-demand micro-markets.” 

Last week, Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) managed to sell approximately 90 luxury flats for over Rs. 1,000 crore on the first day of its project Godrej Astra's launch in Gurugram. This announcement emerged on March 28, 2025 to demonstrate the thriving market for high-end real estate properties in India's top residential choices. The 2.76-acre property Godrej Astra exists in the upper-class Golf Course Road micro-market.

Quick sale results indicate Gurugram’s evolving position as a prime luxury housing destination thanks to its close distance to Delhi and excellent infrastructure and flourishing corporate industry.
