Godrej Properties Ltd entered the real estate market of Panipat by acquiring 43 acres of land in Sector 40, Haryana, to develop a plotted residential project likely to generate over ₹1,250 crore in revenue. It was announced on Monday, and the entry is the company's fourth plotted residential township in North India. The project will cover approximately 1.02 million square feet, providing a variety of plot sizes that also offer lifestyle amenities.

Strategically located with access to the National Highway and in proximity to established social infrastructure, the site is designed to attract homebuyers seeking well-connected, premium residential plots.

The growth complements Godrej Properties' approach to increasing its plotted development presence, with Haryana being a primary area of focus for expansion going forward. The Mumbai developer remains among India's largest real estate companies by residential sales value, continuing FY 2024 performance into FY 2025.
Working under the 128-year-old Godrej Industries Group, the firm has stuck to a promise of constructing only third-party certified green buildings since 2010. The shares in Godrej Properties were at ₹2,347.70, falling by ₹14.60 or 0.62 percent on the NSE in early trade today.
