Prestige Opens Convention Centre in Bengaluru Airport City

Synopsis:  Prestige Group unveils plans for an 8,000-seat convention and exhibition centre at Bengaluru Airport City, creating a global MICE destination with hospitality, office and lifestyle infrastructure to boost the city’s business ecosystem.

Prestige Group has unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art Convention and Exhibition Centre (CEC) at Bengaluru Airport City, marking a major step towards strengthening the city’s position as a global destination for business events, conferences and exhibitions. The project is being developed in collaboration with Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL), a subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Limited.

The upcoming convention centre is designed as a large-scale, multi-format venue with a capacity of around 8,000 seats. It is planned to host international conferences, trade exhibitions, corporate summits, innovation forums, cultural programmes and other large-format events. The facility is expected to enhance Bengaluru’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism potential.

The integrated development forms part of Bengaluru Airport City’s larger vision to create a world-class mixed-use destination near Kempegowda International Airport. Along with the convention and exhibition centre, the project will include a luxury hotel, performing arts theatre, Grade-A office spaces and curated food and beverage offerings, creating a comprehensive business and lifestyle ecosystem.

Prestige Group’s investment in the project is aimed at supporting Bengaluru’s growing demand for premium infrastructure that caters to global businesses and travellers. The development is expected to provide a platform for corporate gatherings, international events and industry collaborations while contributing to the city’s economic growth.

The strategic location of Bengaluru Airport City provides a major advantage due to its connectivity through road networks, airport access and upcoming transportation infrastructure. The area is emerging as a key growth corridor, attracting investments across commercial, hospitality and urban infrastructure segments.

The convention centre is expected to complement Bengaluru’s reputation as India’s technology and innovation hub. With the city witnessing rising demand for corporate events, exhibitions and international forums, the facility aims to bridge the gap for large-scale event infrastructure in South India.

Prestige Group continues to expand its footprint across real estate segments, including residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments. The Bengaluru Airport City project reflects the company’s focus on creating landmark developments that combine infrastructure, business opportunities and lifestyle amenities.
