Nobu Hotel Maldives Redefines Island Luxury

Nobu

Nobu Hospitality has broadened its luxury portfolio by introducing Nobu Hotel Maldives, which is located in the Maldives' Laamu Atoll on a privately owned island called Munyafushi.

The hotel is developed in partnership with Sarat International and provides a new benchmark in ultra-luxurious island living in an environmentally sustainable fashion throughout the Indian Ocean. There are a total of 30 oceanfront villas and 26 villas across the island; all have been created using Nobu's signature minimalist type of architecture, natural materials, and the flow of room space inside and out.

Key Highlights

  • First Nobu property in the Maldives, located in Laamu Atoll.
  • Features beachfront and overwater villas with private amenities.
  • Includes ultra-exclusive private island estate residences.

Each villa features a private terrace, a plunge pool entry bathtub, and either share direct access to the lagoon or directly to the ocean. These elements emphasise privacy while providing refinement and elegance for guests.

Another component to note within the project's development is that there will be a total of ten Nobu Island Estates with each estate being located on its own private island, having direct beach access for the property owner with a boat provided free of charge.

These island estate owners can also have access to the resort's many amenities, including a Nobu restaurant offering Japanese-Peruvian culinary creations a full-service spa, fitness centre, dive facility and a gamut of curated leisure activities.

In an effort to redefine luxury tourism in the Maldives, Nobu Hotel Maldives blends architecturally sophisticated designs, along with sustainable designs that help accentuate why the Maldives is becoming more popular as an island destination among high-net-worth travellers from around the world.
