MakeMyTrip Expands Luxury Stays with Minor Hotels Partnership

MakeMyTrip, the largest online travel platform in India, has also declared a strategic alliance with Minor Hotels, a celebrated international hospitality group with more than 560 outlets across the world.

This partnership forms a major component of MakeMyTrip expansion in its international hotel portfolio and improvement of the experience of Indian travellers who make bookings at international hotels. MakeMyTrip has made it available in more than 77,900 hotels in 192 countries with an amazing year to year growth of 17% in unique hotels booking.

• Over 560 Minor Hotels added to MakeMyTrip’s platform.

• 17% growth in premium hotel bookings on MakeMyTrip in 2025.

Almost a third of these reservations were of premium category where the average room-night rate was more than 15,000 rupees. The collaboration will increase the variety of high quality and luxurious hotel services offered to Indian travellers, such as the world-renowned brands, including Anantara, NH Collection, Tivoli, and Avani, among others.

Currently there are 60 Minor Hotels properties that are operational on MakeMyTrip, but the intention is to expand swiftly.

Co-Founder and Group CEO of MakeMyTrip, Rajesh Magow noted that the collaboration enhances the international services of the platform, which guarantees that the platform engages better with international hospitality giants.

Ian Di Tullio, CCO of Minor Hotels, highlighted the fact that the company will be able to fulfill the changing requirements of Indian guests as the demands persistently increase.
