Located just 50 metres from the shore along the Bay of Bengal, the boutique retreat blends traditional bungalow-style privacy with modern hospitality comforts. Meaning “musical shore,” Isai Karai is designed as a tranquil sanctuary surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sound of waves. The property is strategically positioned near iconic landmarks such as the Shore Temple and Arjuna’s Penance, offering guests seamless access to heritage experiences alongside nature.

The retreat features five rooms split between a three-bedroom main residence and a separate two-bedroom unit, making it suitable for both individual travellers and small groups. Interiors are inspired by local flora and incorporate natural light, greenery, and locally sourced materials.
