Brigade Hotel Ventures Signs Multi-Hotel Deal with Marriott to Expand in India

Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL has already announced that it signed a landmark multi-deal with the Marriott International, Inc to develop six hotels (approximately 940 rooms) in four of the major markets in the nation.

The company will also undertake a massive move to add to its portfolio owned properties with properties under five Marriott Bonvoy brand names available globally: The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott. Considered as an excellent construction organisation, Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited has contributed a lot in urban India with the wide repertoire of hotels across different cities in South India.

Along with this signing, Brigade strengthens an almost 15-year relationship that it has with Marriott, further improving a fruitful relationship. This is in addition to Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway and Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark and makes it a total of eight hotels under Marriott with 1,388 keys.

This exciting partnership was witnessed when Nirupa Shankar, the Managing Director, Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited and Rajeev Menon, the President- Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International signed the official agreement in presence of MR Jaishankar, the Executive Chairman, Brigade Enterprises Limited, Vineet Verma, the Director-Brigade Hotel ventures Limited, Ranju Alex- Regional Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International and Kiran Andicot- Regional Vice President, Hotel Development South Asia, Marriott International.
