DLH Signature is a landmark redevelopment project in Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai, undertaken under MHADA’s DCR 33(5) policy. DLH identified the potential of the location well in advance as the firm holds a strong understanding of the luxury market and understands what factors contribute towards a totalitarian approach required for luxury living.

The Design Philosophy
The design and architecture of DLH Signature draw inspiration from some of the world’s most iconic structures, most notably the Dubai Frame. During a visit to Dubai, Dev and his father were captivated by the innovation, scale, and elegance of international architectural landmarks and sought to bring that same caliber to Mumbai.
The building’s silhouette emulates the Dubai Frame, creating a striking and instantly recognizable profile on the western skyline. To enhance its visual impact, an extensive LED frame wraps around all four faces of the structure, spanning its entire height and width, using over a thousand meters of LED strips to achieve a luminous glow. The design thoughtfully breaks the facade on the east and west sides to soften the building’s mass, ensuring it is welcoming rather than imposing.
Overcoming Challenges
Like every ambitious real estate development, DLH Signature has navigated its share of formidable challenges, turning each obstacle into an opportunity for innovation and growth. Constructed on the reclaimed lands of Bandra Reclamation, the project faced complex geotechnical conditions that demanded exceptional engineering precision.
With soil instability posing significant hurdles, the team undertook deep excavation, reaching nearly 18 meters below ground level, to create a robust basement parking structure compliant with DCR requirements. Building upwards presented its own complexities, as the 120-meter-tall superstructure had to withstand high wind pressures while maintaining optimal sunlight exposure for surrounding buildings.
“Despite the structural challenges, my vision was to create an architectural icon that redefines Mumbai’s western skyline. We have a legacy of delivering multiple super-luxury and iconic developments and are now set to unveil our next masterpiece, the Icon of Bandra Bay, with the Occupation Certificate expected shortly”, concludes Dev.
