WeWork India to Invest Rs 100 Cr in Hyderabad Expansion

WeWork India has conveyed a significant plunge of its business in Hyderabad and has devoted the amount of 100 crore in expanding its business by adding about 3,300 desks by June 2026. The growth will be financed by the mixture of the internal accruals and debt, as the company believes in the long-term demand of the flexible workspace solutions in the city.

Hyderabad has become one of the fastest-growing commercial real estate markets in India with high demand in the form of technology; global capability centers (GCCs), startups, and enterprise occupiers to reach scalable and agile office models.

WeWork India has a total desk count in the portfolio of 1,21,638 currently and a rate of occupancy of 83.9 percent, which is a sign of high use rates and strong market penetration.

The proposed expansion will go a long way towards increasing the capacity of the company to meet the emerging customer demands in Hyderabad, and expand its base within one of its most important regional centers.

Further commenting on the development, the company stated that the expansion is designed with a view of responding to the increased demand and to remain and offer world-class co-working solutions to businesses of any size.
