Vasant Vihar Sees Another Mega Deal as Akhil Wable Invests

Vasant Vihar Sees Another Mega Deal as Akhil Wable Invests

Akhil Wable, co-founder of DataforIndia, has purchased a 1,280-square yard plot for Rs.113 crore in the upscale Vasant Vihar area of New Delhi, according to property documents accessed by Zapkey.com. The deal was registered on June 25, 2025, and the seller is listed as Eleannt Enterprises.

DataforIndia, on its website, is a public initiative to enhance the knowledge of India through research-based, easily accessible, data-driven observations and visualizations on socio-economic issues.

Eleannt Enterprises had previously purchased the same land for Rs.95 crore in earlier this year. The rapid resale underlines the growing shortage of big pieces of land in Vasant Vihar, which is a much-preferred locality for high-end residential projects

Key Highlights:

  • Akhil Wable, co-founder of DataforIndia, buys a Rs.113 crore plot in Vasant Vihar
  • The 1,280 sq yard land was earlier sold for Rs.95 crore, indicating high demand
  • Experts cite the deal as strategic, reflecting rising interest in South Delhi luxury realty

Speaking to Rohit Chopra of SouthDelhiPrime.com, "The average rate in Vasant Vihar is between Rs.9 to 11 lakh per square yard, depending on the precise location within the colony. In this transaction, it was undertaken at approx. Rs.9 lakh per square yard, which reflects a strategic value-buying move."

Chopra further said that the location of the plot close to Vasant Lok market and the metro station makes it suitable for residential and some commercial purposes.

The transaction comes after an April purchase of Rs.72 crore by O3 Plus skincare brand founder Vineet Kapur, as demand from startup founders and business leaders for luxury real estate in South Delhi rises.
