
Pramit Jhaveri, the former CEO of Citibank India, and his wife, Mukeeta, have purchased a luxury apartment in South Mumbai on Carmichael Road for Rs. 38.16 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.
The apartment, located in Echay House developed by JSW Realty, has a carpet area of 2,805 sq ft, with a per square foot price of ₹1.36 lakh.
The transaction was registered on November 29, 2025, and the couple also paid over Rs. 2.28 crore in stamp duty and a ₹30,000 registration fee.

This purchase comes as Jhaveri has decided not to seek another term at the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, one of the key entities controlling the Tata Group.
The luxury real estate transaction is part of India's ultra-luxury housing market, which saw a record-breaking year in 2025, with over Rs. 7,100 crore spent on 51 marquee residential deals.
