Meraas Awards AED 590M Contract for City Walk Crestlane

Meraas has awarded a construction contract worth over AED 590 million for City Walk Crestlane in Dubai. The project will deliver 394 apartments, expanding City Walk’s waterfront residential offering and strengthening Meraas’ urban development portfolio.

Dubai-based developer Meraas has awarded a main construction contract worth more than AED 590 million for City Walk Crestlane, strengthening the next phase of development at its flagship City Walk destination. The contract covers construction of the residential project and is expected to support the delivery of 394 apartments in Dubai. 

City Walk Crestlane is being developed as a waterfront residential community within City Walk, combining residential spaces with landscaped areas and access to the wider lifestyle destination. Meraas said the project is designed to extend City Walk’s urban residential offering while maintaining connectivity to the surrounding commercial, retail and leisure infrastructure.

The development will comprise 394 apartments across the project, adding to Meraas’ portfolio of residential communities in the City Walk area. The project is positioned around contemporary urban living, with residents expected to benefit from the broader amenities and public spaces associated with the City Walk master development.

The construction award represents a significant investment in Dubai’s residential development pipeline, as the emirate continues to expand high-quality housing and mixed-use destinations in established urban locations. Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has developed several residential and lifestyle destinations across Dubai, including City Walk, Bluewaters and other major communities.

City Walk has evolved into one of Dubai’s prominent mixed-use urban destinations, incorporating residential, retail, hospitality, dining and entertainment components. The new Crestlane development is expected to further strengthen the residential component of the district while contributing to the continued expansion of its waterfront environment.

The project also forms part of Meraas’ broader development strategy focused on creating integrated communities rather than standalone residential buildings. Its current portfolio includes City Walk Crestlane alongside other residential projects in Dubai, reflecting continued investment in premium urban and waterfront properties.
