In order to achieve its long-term objective of 10,000 rooms by FY30, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India (MHRIL) intends to add 850 rooms during the current fiscal year (FY26).
This comes after the company added 520 rooms in FY25, the largest yearly rise in room count in its history. FY26 would see more room additions than the previous year, and they would happen all year round. At the moment, MHRIL runs 5,800 rooms under the Club Mahindra name. It is anticipated that by the end of FY26, there would be "between 6,500 and 6,600 rooms."
The corporation has highlighted that, subject to timely permits and permissions, capital expenditures could double from FY25's Rs. 300 crore. Both new accommodation extensions and resort renovations will be financed by the FY26 increase in capital expenditures.
"We had the highest room additions in FY25 and FY26 will be higher, and I think we'll add about 850 rooms," Bhat stated, describing the expectation for the current fiscal year of the organization. From the first quarter (Q1) to the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY26, he explained, these additional rooms would be added gradually throughout the year. Mahindra Holidays' dedication to enhancing its position in the leisure hotel industry and meeting the rising demand for high-quality vacation experiences is demonstrated by this calculated expansion.
