Lodha has adopted practices to improve the world and protect the environment. The outcomes of the renowned Global Real Estate Benchmark (GRESB) 2023 are proof of its efforts. With a score of 100 out of 100 in the Development Benchmark, the company came in first among residential real estate developers in Asia. With a score of 90 out of 100, it placed eighth in Asia in the Standing Investments Benchmark's category for diversified office and retail. Additionally, Lodha has been honored as a GRESB Global Sector Leader for residential development. Capital providers and asset managers utilize GRESB data to benchmark portfolio investments and to better understand the opportunities, risks, and decisions that must be made as the industry transitions to a more sustainable future. The assessment evaluates performance against the components of management, performance, and development with indicators allocated to one of the three dimensions of ESG.
Aun Abdullah, head of ESG, Lodha, said, "Sustainability is at the core of all that we do at Lodha. Our vision is to redefine urban development and lead India's transition to achieve Net Zero by 2070. This recognition by GRESB is an assertion of our dedication to making a net positive impact on both society and the environment". "GRESB Sector Leaders embody the industry's champions, leading the charge towards a net-zero future and propelling the sector forward. We wholeheartedly commend this year's sector leaders for their dedication, leadership and commitment to ESG principles and sustainability", said Sebastien Roussotte, CEO of GRESB.
