KL Rahul & Suniel Shetty Buys Prime Land Parcel in Mumbai for Rs. 9.85 Crore

According to property registration records that Square Yards was able to uncover on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty have jointly paid Rs. 9.85 crore for 7 acres of undivided land in Owale, Thane West. In March 2025, the transaction was registered.

Situated along Ghodbunder Road, a crucial thoroughfare that connects Thane West to the Eastern and Western Express Highways, the acquired land is a portion of a bigger parcel that spans 30 acres and 17 guntha.

The region, which is situated between Anand Nagar and Kasarvadavali, provides good access to Thane, Mumbai, and the western suburbs, which are important business centers.

Square Yards estimates that the 7-acre purchase amounts to 28,327.95 square meters, or around 33,879.58 square yards. The transaction included Rs. 30,000 in registration fees and Rs. 68.96 lakh in stamp duty.

One of India's top cricket players, KL Rahul has led teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL), played for the national side in all formats, and held the position of vice captain.
