India's 21 major publicly traded real estate developers collectively achieved property sales worth nearly Rs.35,000 crore in the most recent June quarter, with Godrej Properties leading in sales bookings.
Most of these major real estate firms experienced annual growth in sales bookings during the April-June quarter, fueled by robust consumer demand for residential properties, particularly luxury homes.
Data from regulatory filings show that these 21 major real estate companies reported combined sales bookings of Rs.34,927.5 crore for the first quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year.

Most of these developers saw annual growth in sales bookings for the April-June quarter, driven by strong demand for residential properties, especially luxury homes.
Data from regulatory filings reveals that these 21 firms reported combined sales bookings of Rs.34,927.5 crore for the first quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year.
A significant portion of these bookings came from the residential segment. Godrej Properties was the top performer with pre-sales totaling Rs.8,637 crore for the quarter. DLF Ltd, the largest realty firm by market capitalization, saw its sales bookings surge more than threefold to Rs.6,404 crore.
Mumbai-based Macrotech Developers, operating under the 'Lodha' brand, reported pre-sales of Rs.4,030 crore. Signature Global, based in Gurugram and recently listed, achieved Rs.3,120 crore in sales bookings, over three times its performance from the previous year.
Prestige Estates Projects, headquartered in Bengaluru, recorded sales bookings of Rs.3,029.5 crore, a decrease from the same period last year. Sobha Ltd and Brigade Enterprises, also based in Bengaluru, reported sales of Rs.1,874 crore and Rs.1,086 crore, respectively, for the April-June period.
Puravankara Ltd, another Bengaluru-based firm, achieved Rs.1,128 crore in sales, nearly the same as the previous year. Mumbai’s Oberoi Realty, specializing in luxury housing, sold properties worth Rs.1,067 crore.
Other Mumbai-based developers include Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd with Rs.1,019 crore in sales and Keystone Realtors (Rustomjee) with Rs.611 crore. Pune’s Kolte-Patil sold properties worth Rs.711 crore, while Sunteck Realty in Mumbai reported Rs.502 crore in sales.
