Synopsis: Brigade Group signs a JDA for an Rs 850 crore premium residential project in Hyderabad’s Kompally area, strengthening its expansion strategy amid rising housing demand and rapid urban growth in the city.
Brigade Group has signed a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for a premium residential project in Kompally, Hyderabad, with an estimated revenue potential of around Rs 850 crore. The development will be spread across a 5.6-acre land parcel in North Hyderabad, reinforcing the company’s continued expansion strategy in one of India’s fastest-growing real estate markets.
The proposed project is being positioned as a modern residential community designed to meet the rising demand for high-quality housing in Hyderabad. According to the company, the development will focus on sustainable planning, contemporary amenities, and lifestyle-driven residential spaces aimed at urban homebuyers seeking premium living environments. Kompally has emerged as a rapidly developing residential corridor due to improving infrastructure, connectivity, and increasing commercial activity in North Hyderabad.

Brigade Group stated that Hyderabad remains a strategically important market for the company because of its strong economic growth, expanding technology ecosystem, and infrastructure-led development. Amar Mysore, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises Limited, said the company remains committed to acquiring strategically located land parcels with long-term growth potential while maintaining its governance and development standards.
The latest project forms part of Brigade Group’s broader investment roadmap for Hyderabad. The company plans to invest nearly Rs 5,000 crore in the city over the next three to four years across residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors. Brigade has already expanded its Hyderabad portfolio through projects such as Brigade at No.7 in Banjara Hills, Brigade Citadel in Moti Nagar, Brigade Gateway at Neopolis, Brigade Enclave, and Brigade Manor.
The announcement comes shortly after Brigade Group acquired a 5.72-acre land parcel in Hyderabad through a Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation auction for another premium housing project. The company has also been actively expanding in Bengaluru and Chennai through large residential township and mixed-use developments.
Industry experts believe Hyderabad’s residential market continues to attract leading developers because of strong housing demand, relatively competitive pricing, and ongoing infrastructure upgrades. Areas such as Kompally, Neopolis, Gachibowli, and Osman Nagar are witnessing increased interest from both end-users and investors due to improved connectivity and rapid urban growth.
