Arshad Warsi Sells Lokhandwala Shop for 6.25 Crore Profitably

Synopsis: Actor Arshad Warsi has sold a commercial shop in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala Complex for ₹6.25 crore, earning nearly three times his 2012 investment as demand for prime retail real estate remains strong.

The sale of an office space by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, which has been made in the Lokhandwala Complex at Andheri West in Mumbai, is for Rs. 6.25 crore. It shows that the actor has made nearly triple the money on his initial investment, which was made some 10 years back.

As per the records obtained from the real estate analytics company, Liases Foras, it was noted that Warsi acquired the shop space located on the ground floor in February 2012 at the cost of ₹2.12 crore. In addition, the property has now been sold for ₹6.25 crore, which amounts to almost 195% of capital gains over a period of 14 years.

The business premises are 684 sqft in carpet area and situate themselves in the established location of Lokhandwala Complex of Andheri West, which is one of the most popular commercial and residential areas in Mumbai. It must be noted that the transaction price of this real estate indicates its price of ₹91,400 per sqft.

Umang Rajkumar Budhraja is the purchaser of the property in question, who has made a payment of ₹37.50 lakhs for stamp duty. The transaction took place via the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration, where the entire procedure of formalities was done at the time of registration.

This deal shows how commercially productive these properties can be in terms of investments in the long run. Lokhandwala Complex has always been a favoured area for various business entities such as retailing companies, restaurants, and entertainment organizations because of the heavy presence of people who are good at spending money and also because of easy connectivity with other areas of the city.
