Koregaon Park has its fair share of cafés, fine-dines, and bars, but this new launch promises to stand apart. Called 'The Third Place', it marks the debut of Pune's first dedicated wine bar, introducing a community-driven approach to everyday unwinding, bringing soulful food, and craft wines and intentional experiences all day long.
More than just a wine bar, The Third Place pioneers India's first comprehensive concept store with all in-house offerings - wine, food, coffee, décor, fashion, and art - bringing the popular Western community space concept to Indian shores for the first time. In a world wired around a routine, it aims to make you pause, connect with others and feel at home.
It blends the best of pizzas, wines, slow-brewed coffees and a lot of vibes! What makes this place unique is how its simplicity wins over in every aspect, the focus of the place being Memorable rather than being fancy and Instagrammable.

The Third Place is the result of Kunal Mhaske, Managing Director, Grandeur Hotels Pvt. Ltd. and Founder, The Third Place - vision to create more than just another café or bar. Kunal has more than 14 years of expertise in the hospitality industry, and The Third Place strives to become much more than a place to just wine and dine but also to build a place to share experiences and meet like minded individuals. It is designed into a multi-sensory space with a mix of food, drink, and lifestyle housed under one roof. There's SOIL Coffee, where every brew feels like your everyday coffee indulgence just the way it is made at home; a Sommelier-led Wine Bar that celebrates the best wines in the most natural and pure form; a Pizza Station dishing out fresh woodfired slices with all farm fresh ingredients used; and the ambience and décor echoes being deeply rooted into sustainability with the use of refurbished and repurposed furniture.
Concept corners like Altrove by Shreya Mantri and Style Mati by Fatima, offering slow shopping through fashion and lifestyle. Mati is a fashion label of Fatima K. Punjabi, inspired by nature. Muted tones, earthy colours and natural designs form the free-flowing clothes that fit all sizes, body shapes and honour gender neutrality. Within The Third Place, it beautifully complements the earthy aesthetic.
Talking about the space, Mhaske says, "Your first place is your home, second place is your work and what we have here is your third place. We wish to develop a feeling that you feel like returning to. The menu is curated; the coffees are meant for slow-sipping experiences and stores are intentionally rooted in craft. I have tried to form a space that mixes community with comfort food and drinks."
Tying all of this together is an All-Day Menu by Chef Toshan Salgaonkar of soulful European cuisine with a focus on quality, craftsmanship and maintaining the authenticity of the flavours. Fresh Pear Salad, Chorizo (Chilly Fried Pork), Roasted Root Vegetables, Grilled Mushrooms, Beets and Burrata, Oven Roasted Chicken, and Lamb Meatballs encompass this lunch and dinner menu. Their Pizzas are made from 72-hour slow fermented Neapolitan dough along with aged cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano, and Pecorino Romano. Try out the Farmacy, Quattro Formaggi, Caprese, Classic Pepperoni, and Meat Overload. There's also Panuozzo or Pizza Sandwiches featuring Pesto Chicken, Tomato Bocconcini, and BLT/HLT.

With years of expertise in the food and beverage industry, Kunal Mhaske set out to create something the city has not seen before. He, along with his interior stylist friend Kajal Patel, has designed the space from refurbished and recycled materials. There are a lot of indoor plants, ample space to bask in the daylight, private corners for those who prefer exclusivity and a countertop setting to bond over wine, pizza, or coffee.

The smooth integration with a clothing and home decor store reinforces the idea of a space that flows into a community. You might walk in for a coffee, stay for a conversation and find you browsing through papier-mâché décor or handcrafted fashion while your woodfired pizza crisps in the oven.
If you are looking for a restaurant that feels more like an experience, The Third Place deserves a visit.
