Sterling Opens Nirmaya Dharamshala Resort in Himachal

Sterling Holiday Resorts has opened Sterling Nirmaya Dharamshala, its sixth property in Himachal Pradesh, strengthening its North India leisure portfolio and expanding its footprint in major mountain destinations.

Located above the Kangra Valley, the resort is positioned as a contemporary Himalayan retreat offering panoramic views of the Dhauladhar ranges.

The property is designed for family holidays, small group travel, and private celebrations, with a focus on social and food-led experiences. Accommodation includes rooms and suites with private sit-outs overlooking the valley.

Food and beverage offerings play a central role. Mezban, the all-day dining restaurant, serves Indian, Himachali-inspired, and international cuisine, while Ignis, the rooftop bar, is tailored for evening gatherings and scenic views. The resort’s event space, Summit, supports meetings, workshops, and small celebrations, making it suitable for leisure and corporate retreats.

Located a short distance from McLeod Ganj, the property offers access to popular attractions such as monasteries, local markets, the Triund trek, Bhagsu Waterfall, and Bir Billing.
