Mahindra Holidays Unveils Major Expansion to Lead Leisure Travel

Mahindra Signature Resorts

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India has announced a comprehensive transformation strategy to strengthen its leadership in India’s leisure hospitality sector and position itself as the country’s top player by FY30.

Central to this strategy is a large-scale expansion of room inventory, with the company targeting 10,000 keys by FY30.

The plan includes rapid addition of new inventory across destinations and a parallel upgrade of its existing resorts to align with rising demand for premium and experiential leisure travel.

Key Highlights

  • MHRIL targets 10,000 keys by FY30 with rapid expansion and premiumisation
  • Club Mahindra rebrands to Club M, backed by the new Keystone program
  • New luxury brand Mahindra Signature Resorts to scale to 2,000 keys

A significant component of this transformation is the rebranding of Club Mahindra to Club M, reflecting a refreshed identity and an enhanced guest experience philosophy. Supporting this transition is the introduction of Keystone, an elevated privileged-access program that promises concierge services, improved flexibility, and simplified membership structures to strengthen customer engagement and loyalty.

Further reinforcing its brand architecture, MHRIL has launched Mahindra Signature Resorts, a luxury offering designed for families seeking immersive, high-comfort and exclusive stay experiences. This premium brand will be scaled to 2,000 keys by FY30, positioning it as a flagship player in India’s upscale leisure segment.

Commenting on the transformation, Manoj Bhat, MD & CEO, Mahindra Holidays said, “For almost three decades, Mahindra Holidays has shaped how Indian families holiday, which gives us a competitive edge. The demand for experiential holidays is rising swiftly due to increasing affluence. We recognize that family extends beyond the traditional sense to encompass meaningful connections and shared experiences. Hence, we are embarking on our two-brand strategy, to gain a leadership position in the leisure market.”

With its combined brand revamp, expansion roadmap, and focus on premiumisation, MHRIL aims to reshape the future of India’s fast-growing leisure tourism ecosystem.
