Lemon Tree Hotels Expands in Jharkhand with New Ranchi Property

Lemon Tree Hotels has opened its second hotel in Jharkhand, a 45-room property called Lemon Tree Hotel, Ranchi. This move helps the company grow in eastern India, where more people are traveling for work and fun.

The hotel is right in the center of Ranchi, the state's capital. It's a busy spot known for schools, hospitals, and businesses. This is Lemon Tree's first hotel in Ranchi and follows their earlier one in Jamshedpur.  The company, based in Delhi, runs it as a franchise, which is part of their plan to open more hotels without owning all the buildings. They now have over 100 hotels across India.

At the hotel, guests get modern rooms with nice views of the green surroundings. There's fast Wi-Fi, good desks for work, and comfy beds. You can eat at Citrus Café, which serves food from around the world with some local dishes.

The Slounge bar is a relaxed place for drinks and music. There's also a gym and an outdoor pool to help you relax in the warm weather.

"Ranchi is emerging as one of India’s preferred destinations, drawing both leisure seekers and business travelers alike," enthused Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels. "With this new opening, our first in the city, we are delighted to strengthen our presence in Jharkhand and offer guests the brand’s signature combination of comfort, warmth, and value in a city that epitomises culture and hospitality."

A company spokesperson added, "This is the brand’s second property in the state after Jamshedpur, further strengthening its presence in Jharkhand."

Ranchi is growing fast with new IT offices, medical centers, and nearby nature spots like Hundru Falls. After the pandemic, more people are staying in hotels, and occupancy in Jharkhand has gone up 15% from last year. Lemon Tree aims to reach 150 hotels by 2027, focusing on smaller cities like this. With improvements like the bigger Ranchi airport, it's a smart time to expand.
