Hyderabad will be the destination for Atmosphere Core's India launch, with the international hospitality group that operates two of the Maldives' most celebrated luxury resorts announcing its move into the subcontinent.
Co-Founder and Group Managing Director Salil Panigrahi made the announcement, introducing the company's design-centric approach and its sustainable hospitality model to India.
Atmosphere Core, which boasts brands such as THE OZEN COLLECTION, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, and COLOURS OF OBLU, has defined luxury in the Maldives through experiential all-inclusive concepts. Its Indian expansion seeks to redefine leisure tourism by developing world-class yet culturally inspired destinations.
Key highlights:
"Hyderabad is a city in which history, architecture, cuisine, and culture cohere so beautifully. It represents the very ethos we hope to introduce to India—escapes that are authentic, design-led, and emotionally evocative," said Panigrahi.
The collective vision for India is one of design innovation, cultural engagement, and sustainability. Each of the properties will be designed as an original expression of its setting, with heritage contextualized with contemporary functionality. All-inclusive Maldives-style experiences can be anticipated for guests, including wellness retreats, gourmet experiences, and carefully chosen cultural experiences.
Panigrahi focused on Atmosphere Core's hospitality philosophy as a "soulful craft", in which sustainability and design play a key role. The firm will integrate eco-sensitive architecture, clean energy, and waste minimization into each project.
