Brij Hotels has expanded its experiential luxury portfolio with the launch of Brij Sone Bagh, a secluded eco-luxury retreat located on the edge of the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
Spread across 32 acres of pristine forest in the Vindhya Hills, the property offers guests an immersive connection with nature, surrounded by ancient Sal trees, tribal villages, and the historic 2,000-year-old Bandhavgarh Fort. Situated just five minutes from the national park’s main gate and three and a half hours from Jabalpur Airport, it features only five bespoke villas designed for privacy and authenticity.
Key Highlights
Each villa reflects local art and craftsmanship, blending traditional aesthetics with contemporary comfort. Guests can enjoy guided safaris, nature walks through Baiga villages, and curated local experiences such as live chutney-making or block-printing sessions. Evenings feature starlit dinners, regional cuisine, and performances at the Elephant Bar.
Designed by Atelier15 under architect Deepika Sethi, the retreat is crafted from natural stone, timber, bamboo, and cane, reflecting the forest’s raw beauty. Sustainability lies at its core — every tree was preserved, and pathways follow natural contours. Passive cooling systems, wildlife-friendly lighting, and local employment ensure a minimal environmental footprint.
“Brij Sone Bagh is a celebration of central India — its forests, wildlife, and tribal heritage. We envisioned a space that blends luxury with authenticity, where every detail tells a story of the land and its people,” says Udit Kumar, Co-Founder, Brij Hotels.
