Bollywood icon Hema Malini sells two Oshiwara apartments

South Indian actress and politician Hema Malini has sold two residential flats in Oberoi Springs, Oshiwara, Andheri West, together worth Rs.12.50 crore, as per property registration records on the Maharashtra IGR portal. The transactions, seen by Square Yards, were registered in August 2025.

Both the flats were sold at Rs.6.25 crore and come with a separate car parking area. The registration information indicates a stamp duty of Rs.31.25 lakh and registration charges of Rs.30,000 per apartment. Both the apartments have the same layout with a carpet area of 847 sq. ft. and a built-up area of 1,017 sq. ft.

Oberoi Springs is among the most prized luxury housing societies in Mumbai, favored by celebrities and high-net-worth individuals alike for its central location and high-end amenities.

"Andheri West remains one of the trendiest property hotspots in Mumbai, with a distinct mix of luxury, connectivity, and lifestyle," added a Square Yards spokesperson. "Sales like these reinforce the micro-market's sustained popularity with end-users as well as investors."

The area is well connected via the Western Express Highway, SV Road, suburban railway, and the Versova–Ghatkopar Metro line, with access to business districts like BKC, Goregaon, and Andheri East.

Bollywood's "Dream Girl" of the 1970s and 1980s, Hema Malini was one of the top actresses in Hindi cinema during that time. A Bharatanatyam dancer and cultural icon, she is also a BJP Member of Parliament from Mathura.

Her recent property sale indicates the sustained demand for upscale homes in western suburbs of Mumbai, where luxury high-rise apartments and lifestyle facilities continue to be key drivers of investment.
