While the younger members imagined the living room as a social destination for gatherings and entertainment, the father desired a quieter space centred around daily spiritual practice.

Rather than forcing one priority over another, Sarfre Designs found harmony between both. A concealed mandir became seamlessly integrated into the architecture of the living room, reading as a sculptural art installation when closed and transforming into a place of worship when opened. The entertainment wall was similarly designed as a crafted architectural feature instead of a conventional television unit.

Soft curves, layered lighting, and carefully balanced materials created a home that feels warm without excess and expressive, without demanding attention. Like many of the studio's projects, it is a space that reveals itself gradually through the experience of living within it.
