Mumbai's Interior firm Arrivae receives Rs. 21 crore from Mithun Sacheti

Caratlane founder Mithun Sacheti investsRs. 21 crore in a Mumbai based made-to-order furniture and a home improvement platform, Arrivae. According to the sources, Mithun will join the managerial board right after this investment.

This Mumbai based startup was established in 2018 by securing nearly Rs. 75 crore funding from Think Investments and Havells Group in February 2023. In their series B round of funding notable investors like Emerge Capital joined along with the existing investors.  

According to the media report, the business head, Raghav Bubna said, that the company plans to use this investment for expanding its presence in current markets and fortifying its supply chain. The company is currently working in 11 stores including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurugram and Bengaluru.

Bubna commented, “We want to expand further in these geographical micro-markets, with some measured expansion into new markets also possible.”

In a media statement, the company said, the company's vision is to democratise design by making it accessible, affordable and seamlessly integrated into customers' ideas and dreams. Sacheti will be joining Bubna,Yash Kela, and famous investor Madhusudhan Kela of MK Ventures as the board of directors.

Sacheti and Yash Kela are working together at investment firm Singularity Growth, where Sacheti is a general partner and Kela is founder and chief investment officer. Sacheti is also connected as a major limited partner (LP) in Flipkart founder Binny Bansal's O21 Capital, an investment firm focused on early stage venture.
